Early Times Report KATHUA, Aug 13: In observance of the nationwide 'Har Ghar Tiranga' Campaign, 19 JKAP IR, Kathua, organized a vibrant Tiranga Rally on 13 August 2026 to celebrate Independence Day and promote the spirit of patriotism and national unity. The rally commenced from the Battalion Headquarters, Kathua, and proceeded along the designated route to Changran Middle School, Kathua, where the programme culminated. The event was conducted in strict compliance with the directives issued by the higher authorities, with the objective of fostering national integration, patriotism, and pride in the National Flag ahead of Independence Day. The rally was led by Atul Sharma, SSP (JKPS) Commandant 19 JKAP IR Kathua and witnessed enthusiastic participation of nearly 150-180 officers and officials alongside a spirited contingent of students from Government Middle School, Badala, and Government Middle School Changran Kathua. Holding the National Flag aloft, the participants marched through the designated route and raised patriotic slogans fulfilling the objective of honouring the Tricolour, instilling national pride, and strengthening the bond between the J&K Police and the local community.
