Jammu, Aug 14: As part of the #HarGharTiranga and the celebrations leading up to Independence Day 2026, the Civil Administration and Kishtwar Police jointly organized a vibrant Tiranga Bike Rally in Kishtwar, spreading the spirit of patriotism, unity and national pride. The rally was flagged off by DC Kishtwar, Sh. Pankaj Kumar Sharma-JKAS, accompanied by SSP Kishtwar, Sh. Naresh Singh-JKPS, along with other senior officers of the Civil Administration and Police. The Tiranga Bike Rally commenced from Malipeth and culminated at the New DC Office, Kishtwar. A large number of participants, including members of the general public and personnel from J&K Police, CAPFs and Civil Administration, enthusiastically participated in the rally, proudly carrying the National Flag and raising patriotic slogans. DC Kishtwar, highlighted the significance of the Har Ghar Tiranga and urged citizens to proudly hoist the National Flag, honouring the sacrifices of those who fought for the nation’s freedom and unity. In his message, SSP Kishtwar, said: “As we celebrate our Independence, we remember with profound gratitude all those brave hearts who made the supreme sacrifice for the honour, freedom and integrity of our nation. The Tiranga is a symbol of our unity, sovereignty and collective pride. Let us honour their sacrifices by strengthening the bonds of peace, brotherhood and national unity, and by reaffirming our commitment to the progress and prosperity of our great nation.” The rally reflected the collective spirit of unity in diversity and reaffirmed the commitment of the Civil Administration, Police and citizens of Kishtwar to uphold the dignity of the Tricolour and contribute towards a peaceful, strong, progressive and united India. |
