Early Times Report RAMBAN, Aug 16: The tragic death of renowned sportsperson Sadam Naik of Neel Harwari, Ramban, in a devastating road accident in Kishtwar has plunged the entire Ramban district into deep mourning. Sadam was among five people who lost their lives after a Mahindra Scorpio skidded off the road and plunged into the Chenab River in the Dachhan area of Kishtwar. A passionate and talented sportsperson, Sadam Naik was widely known for his skills in volleyball and cricket. He had represented Team Ramban several times in sporting events both within and outside the district, earning admiration and respect from players and sports lovers across Jammu and Kashmir. His sudden and untimely demise has sent shockwaves through the sports fraternity. Youth from across Ramban and sportspersons from different parts of Jammu and Kashmir expressed profound grief over the loss of a young talent who had become an inspiration for many. Sadam is survived by his wife and two children, making the tragedy even more heartbreaking for his family and loved ones. Thousands of people, particularly young people and members of the sports community, gathered to offer Namaz-e-Janaza, reflecting the immense love, respect and popularity Sadam had earned during his lifetime. For Neel, and the entire Ramban district, it was a day of profound grief. A promising sportsperson, a beloved son of the soil and a familiar face among the youth has been lost far too soon.
