JAMMU, Aug 16: Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at Amar Singh Club today. The programme was attended by several distinguished citizens of the city, senior members, and a large number of members of Amar Singh Club, who participated wholeheartedly in the celebrations.
The Club has been progressing from strength to strength under the able guidance and leadership of its Vice President, Ramesh Kumar, IAS, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu. His vision, guidance, and constant support have played an important role in taking Amar Singh Club to new heights.
On the occasion, Honorary Secretary of Amar Singh Club, Vijay Saraf, emphasized the importance of maintaining mutual brotherhood, love, harmony, and respect among one another. He said that Independence Day is not only a celebration of our freedom but also a reminder of our responsibilities towards society and the nation. He appealed to everyone to contribute towards the development of India by keeping our surroundings clean, avoiding littering, living together with love and harmony, and extending a helping hand to those in need.
