Jammu, Aug 22: Stephens International Public School (SIPS) successfully hosted Dr. Aparna Oratory Odyssey 3.0, its annual flagship event held in the loving memory of Dr. Aparna Saini, celebrating eloquence, critical thinking, and intellectual discourse. The event was graced by Ms. Anuradha Thakur, SDM, RS Pura, as the Chief Guest. Director Mrs. Satvinder Saini, Trustee Ad.Kunal Saini,Principal, Vice Principal, Headmistress, faculty members, coordinators, and students were also present. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 30 CBSE schools of the Jammu region, with students demonstrating confidence, spontaneity, critical thinking, and impressive oratory skills. In the Classical Debate, IDPS Jammu secured the first position with Mazhar Mahmood and Sheikh Manahil, followed by APS Damana, represented by Aastha Sharma and Khushi Sharma, in second place. RMG International School, represented by Yashika Mahajan and Divya Chhavi, secured third position, while APS Nagrota, represented by Aayan Ali and Anushka Jamwal, received the Consolation Prize.The winners got a cash reward of Rs 8000,Rs 5000, and Rs 3000 respectively.Amaay Gupta of Jodhamal Public School was judged the Best Speaker received a cash reward of Rs 4500. In the Extempore Competition, Aaradhya Verma of APS Damana secured the first position, Ekatya of G.D. Goenka Public School stood second, and Kaavisha Singh of Heritage School Jammu secured third position.In extempore also, the winners received a cash reward of Rs 3000, Rs 2500 and Rs 2000 respectively.Akshar Jalhotra of RMG International School received the Consolation Prize. The competitions were adjudicated by an eminent panel comprising Prof. Ritu Magotra, Ms. William Delight, Prof Suraj Mohini Jamwal, Ms. Shivika Thakur, Dr. Posh Charak, Ms. Madhurima Kaul, Dr. Mohit Sharma, Dr. Vani Awasthi, and Dr. Naseem Choudhary. |
