Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 23: In an inspiring example of self-reliance and entrepreneurship, Musafir Cafe was inaugurated today with great enthusiasm at Bhatindi near Makkah Masjid, Jammu. The cafe was formally inaugurated by Chief Guest *Dr. Shabir Hussain Keen (jkas) *Secretary , J&K, BOPEE, by cutting the ribbon. The owner of the cafe is Mr. Raja Salman, a Post-Graduate from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi*. Despite being highly educated, like many youth of J&K, he was facing unemployment. Instead of waiting for a government job, Mr. Salman decided to start his own venture to become self-reliant and to provide a quality hangout place for the people of Bhatindi. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Dr. Shabir Hussain Kain said, "Raja Salman is a role model for all educated unemployed youth of Jammu & Kashmir. He has proved that if you have courage and intention, you don't need to wait for a job, you can create jobs. This is not just the inauguration of a cafe, but the inauguration of a new thinking - from job seeker to job creator. I pray for his grand success." He further appreciated the name 'Musafir' and said that Bhatindi area was in dire need of such a neat, clean and quality cafe. The owner, Mr. Raja Salman thanked all the guests and said that his aim is to provide best quality food, hygienic environment and excellent service at affordable rates to the people of his area. Large number of locals, respectable citizens, youth and family members were present on the occasion and congratulated Mr. Raja Salman for his new beginning. |
