PUNE, Aug 26: The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has seized narcotic drugs valued at Rs 3.41 crore from a woman passenger at the Pune Railway Junction, officials said on Wednesday. The passenger, travelling from Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station, Delhi, and passing through Pune, was intercepted. A search of her baggage resulted in the recovery of 2,532 grams of suspected amphetamine and 878 grams of MDMA. The woman was arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and further investigation is on, officials said. |
