Early Times Report KISHTWAR, Aug 26: District Youth Officer, MY BHARAT Kendra Kishtwar Sandeep Sharma today briefed the media on upcoming Khelo India Dialogue, scheduled to be held on August 27, 2026 at Government Degree College (GDC) Kishtwar and GDC Chatroo. The programme is being organised under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Sharma. The District Youth Officer informed that the programme would provide students with a unique opportunity to virtually interact with the Prime Minister, who will engage with young participants on various aspects of sports, sports culture and the importance of greater youth participation in sports. "The programme will further provide students with an opportunity to interact with eminent local sportspersons, enabling them to learn from their experiences, achievements and journeys in the field of sports. The initiative aims to inspire young people to embrace sports not only as a career opportunity but also as an important component of a healthy, disciplined and progressive society," he informed. The DYO also highlighted the ongoing Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue Quiz on the MY BHARAT Portal and urged students and youth across the district to actively participate. He emphasised that such initiatives provide young citizens with platforms for developing leadership, awareness, civic engagement and a sense of responsibility towards nation-building.
