Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 31: In a dedicated effort to champion community well-being, emergency readiness, and preventive healthcare, SIBA Event Management & Innovations Cooperative Ltd., in joint initiative with Amandeep Group of Hospitals, Airports Authority of India (AAI), and the Society for Scheduled & Backward Classes, successfully organized a transformative Workshop on Life-Saving Skills & Health Checkups today at Jammu Airport. Driven by a shared vision to build a safer, healthier, and more resilient society, the day-long initiative combined hands-on emergency response training with accessible, specialized medical care right at the heart of Jammu's key aviation hub. Emergency preparedness saves lives when every second counts. During the workshop, medical experts led practical, step-by-step sessions on fundamental Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid techniques, equipping participants with the skills and confidence to act decisively during critical medical emergencies, SFSAB, Chairman Tariq Mirza with team also visited the camp and appreciated the same. Alongside the life-saving training, a team of distinguished medical partners extended essential health checkups to all attendees: Eye Care & Vision Screening: Conducted by experts from Goel Hospital Varun Kumar ( Sr Optometrist), Rizwan (PCT ), Anil Kumar ( Marketing Manager), Parison Khonja, Dental Health Evaluations:Provided by Dr. Manhas Dental Clinic, Dr Kamal Manhas, Farah naz , Sonali sharma, Sushant sharma , Joshika Atri Dental Clinic, Physiotherapy & Mobility Care: Delivered by Joint Angeles (Dr. Mussarat). The initiative warmly served a wide cross-section of the airport ecosystem-including airport management officials, frontline ground personnel, CISF officers, security personnel, and traveling passengers-ensuring that those who keep our skies and transit running smoothly received dedicated care and attention.
