| District police Ramban arrested absconder after three years in pending case | | |  Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Sept 1: District Police Ramban has continued its sustained drive against the absconders and proclaimed offenders by apprehending an accused ( Absconder), who had been evading his arrest since last 03 years, involved in a case registered at Police Station Ramban, i e Case FIR number 202/2023 under section 279/429/IPC of Police Station Ramban. The accused (Absconder) namely, Talwinder Singh Son of Kunan Singh Residen Gonupur Saidowal, Tehsil and District Gurdaspur Punjab was arrested in Ludhiana Punjab on September Ist _2026 by a Police team, headed by ASI Ravinder Kumar Sharma. The said accused Talwinder Singh was wanted in the above cited case of Police Station Ramban and was evading his arrest since last three years. In connection with the case, an arrest warrant under Section Section 335 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita BNSS had been issued against him by the Hon'ble Court of Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Ramban. The arrest was carried out as a part of the ongoing campaign by District Police Ramban to trace and apprehend absconders and ensure that individuals evading the process of law are brought before the competent Court. District Police Ramban has reiterated its commitment to upholding the rule of law and continuing sustained action against persons evading arrest in pending criminal cases. |
