KISHTWAR, Sept 2: In a significant action against individuals involved in drug trafficking, Motor Vehicle Department Kishtwar has disqualified driving licences of two persons booked under NDPS Act.
The action was taken under the directions and supervision of Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Sharma and in close coordination with the Police Department.
One the basis of details of FIR No. 144/2026, registered under Sections 8/21/22/29 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Vijaypur, the Driving Licence (No. JK1720100023569) of Ishtiyaq Ahmed, S/o Nazir Ahmed Hajam, R/o Dool, Tehsil & District Kishtwar and Driving Licence No. JK1720160031758 possessed by Syed Behran Aftab, S/o Syed Anwar Ahmed Aftab, R/o Astan Bala, Kishtwar have been disqualified by the ARTO Kishtwar. |
