| Anyone Wishing to Witness the Mahabharat Come Alive Should Visit Mahabharat Anubhav Kendra at Jyotisar: CM Nayab Singh Saini | | |  Early Times Report
CHANDIGARH, Sept 4: Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that anyone from around the world who wishes to witness the story of the Mahabharat come alive before their eyes through modern technology should visit the Mahabharat Anubhav Kendra at Jyotisar in Kurukshetra. Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi had inaugurated this Kendra. Dedicated to the rich heritage of the Mahabharat and the Bhagavad Gita, this centre is establishing its identity as one of the prominent cultural and tourism destinations of Haryana as well as the country.
The Chief Minister was interacting with journalists at the Mahabharat Anubhav Kendra in Jyotisar on Friday.
Earlier, the Chief Minister paid obeisance at Jyotisar Tirth and performed the prescribed rituals and prayers, wishing for peace, happiness and prosperity in the state. The Chief Minister also showered affection on children dressed as Lord Krishna and Radha.
Nayab Singh Saini inspected the Kendra and issued necessary directions to Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena. Thereafter, he attended the discourse by Gita Manishi Gyananand Maharaj at the Gita Gyan Sansthanam premises.
The Chief Minister said that the objective of the Mahabharat Anubhav Kendra is to bring the epic story of the Mahabharat and the timeless teachings of the Bhagavad Gita to people by combining traditional storytelling with modern technology. He said that the centre is spread over approximately 17 acres and has more than one lakh square feet of indoor space.
Responding to questions from journalists, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the state government is in continuous contact with the Central Government. Paddy procurement from farmers will also be carried out. He said that higher moisture content in paddy creates problems for commission agents and procurement agencies. Farmers should bring paddy within the prescribed moisture parameters. He assured that farmers would not be allowed to face any kind of difficulty during the crop procurement season.
Former Minister of State Subhash Sudha, Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena, Superintendent of Police Chandra Mohan, and other dignitaries were present on the occasion. |
