Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 4: Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated across the world with great religious devotion, tradition and reverence. The festival conveys the eternal message of love, affection, brotherhood, compassion and harmony among human beings, particularly in India, said Adv. Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President, J&K National Conference, Jammu. Rattan Lal Gupta was speaking while inaugurating a stall of fruits and other eatables items for the distribution of public on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtmi which was organised by S.Gurnam Singh District Secretary Jammu Urban, Subash Bhagat District President Jammu Rural A, Attal Singh, Pusp Jandial, Kewal Krishan , Sahil Kerni District President Jammu Urban YNC,Gorav and other workers of NC and YNC. Mr Gupta was accompanied by Vijay Lochan Chairman SC Cell. He said that Lord Krishna, whose birth is celebrated as Janmashtami, was a symbol of divine love, affection, righteousness and wisdom. His teachings continue to inspire humanity across the world and remain relevant even in the present era. Gupta said that the Bhagavad Gita, the great philosophical scripture associated with Lord Krishna, contains profound teachings on duty, righteousness, ethical conduct, governance, leadership and the purpose of human life. Its universal message has influenced generations and continues to guide people towards truth, justice and responsible action. He called upon people to imbibe the teachings of Lord Krishna in their daily lives and work towards strengthening communal harmony, mutual respect, peace and brotherhood in society. On the occasion, the NC workers distributed prasad and food among devotees and the general public and prayed for peace, prosperity and well-being of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and the entire country. Rattan Lal Gupta extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami and expressed hope that the festival would bring happiness, peace and prosperity to every household. |
