ASCOMS Nursing students join VBYLD 2027 awareness drive

JAMMU, Sept 12: Nursing students actively participated in an awareness programme focused on the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027, organised at ASCOMS College of Nursing Education, with the objective of sensitising youth towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 and encouraging their active participation in nation-building initiatives.
The programme was graced by Sh. Nitin Hangloo, State Director, MY Bharat, Jammu & Kashmir, as the Chief Guest, while Sh. Vivek Kumar, District Youth Officer (DYO), MY Bharat, Jammu, and Sh. Sushil Singh Charak, State Resource Person, MY Bharat, Jammu & Kashmir, attended as Guests of Honour.
The programme focused on the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027, a youth-centric initiative inspired by the vision of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for Viksit Bharat @2047. The initiative seeks to provide young citizens with opportunities to share their ideas, perspectives and leadership potential and contribute meaningfully to the nation-building process.
As part of the programme, nursing students registered themselves online for VBYLD 2027 through the MY Bharat platform and participated in the online quiz. The students were sensitised about the importance of youth participation and encouraged to contribute their ideas and efforts towards the goal of building a developed India.
Addressing the students, Sh. Nitin Hangloo highlighted the vision of Viksit Bharat and the crucial role of youth in transforming the aspirations of a developed India into reality. He encouraged students to actively participate in youth-oriented initiatives and undertake their responsibilities as socially aware and responsible citizens.
Vivek Kumar, District Youth Officer, MY Bharat, Jammu, apprised the students about the opportunities available through MY Bharat and encouraged them to actively engage in youth development and nation-building activities.
Sushil Singh Charak, State Resource Person, MY Bharat, Jammu & Kashmir, encouraged the students to make the most of platforms such as VBYLD 2027 and use their knowledge, ideas and skills for constructive social participation and community development.
Prof. Dr. Indra Moza, Principal, ASCOMS College of Nursing Education, emphasised the significant role of nursing professionals in realising the vision of Viksit Bharat. She highlighted that nurses, through quality patient care, health education, preventive healthcare, community participation and compassionate service, can contribute substantially towards building a healthier and stronger nation.
