Jammu, Sept 13: Continuing its cherished tradition, members of Hari Prabhu Sanstha visited Ashray Nagrota Gujroo today, the second Sunday of the month, to review and participate in the ongoing welfare activities of the Sanstha. A Natural Pathy Medical Camp was organised on the occasion by Dr. Deepak Birdhi. A number of patients suffering from different types of body pain attended the camp and availed themselves of consultation and guidance. The Sanstha expressed its gratitude to Dr. Birdhi for extending his valuable services for the benefit of the community. A significant new initiative was also undertaken from this month with the introduction of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) for the disbursement of widow pensions and student scholarships. The bank accounts of the pensioners and students receiving assistance from the Sanstha have been duly verified, and henceforth the pension and scholarship amounts will be directly credited to their respective bank accounts. The initiative is aimed at ensuring greater transparency, convenience and efficiency in the delivery of welfare assistance. The visit was attended by Sh. Kuldeep Gupta, Sh. Kishori Lal Gupta, Sh. Romesh Gupta, Sh. Sudesh Gupta, Sh. Darshan Lal Gupta and Sh. Vijay Kumar Verma. Adding a cultural touch to the occasion, Master Kishori Lal Gupta presented a melodious song, creating a warm and cheerful atmosphere and making the visit memorable. The Sanstha reiterated its commitment to its mission of “Serving and Spreading Happiness” and continuing its welfare activities for the needy and underprivileged. “You Donate, We Distribute.” |
