GDC Vijaypur Celebrates Hindi Diwas

Vijaypur, Sept 14: The Department of Hindi, GDC Vijaypur, celebrated Hindi Diwas with great enthusiasm by organising a Debate Competition and Slogan Writing Competition to promote the importance, richness and wider use of the Hindi language among students. The programme was organised under the guidance of the Principal, Dr. Sanjeet Kaur, and coordinated by Prof. Sonia Devi, Lecturer, Department of Hindi. The competitions provided students with an opportunity to express their ideas and creativity while highlighting the significance of Hindi in education, communication and national life. On the occasion, senior faculty members Dr. Anoop Singh, HoD Sociology, and Prof. Ritu Bhagat, HoD Education, appreciated the efforts of the Department of Hindi for organising the activities and encouraged students to take pride in the Hindi language and its rich literary heritage.
Several faculty members also participated in and graced the occasion, including Dr. Arti Sharma, Dr. Manoj Heer, Dr. Naseem Chowdhary, Prof. Meetu Sharma, Dr. Pooja Gupta, Dr. Anu Bala, Prof. Jyoti Bala, and Dr. Reetika Sharma. Principal Dr. Sanjeet Kaur appreciated the Department of Hindi for organising meaningful activities and emphasised the importance of promoting Indian languages among students. She encouraged the students to actively participate in such academic and co-curricular activities for their overall development.
The celebration concluded with an appreciation of the participating students and faculty members for their enthusiastic involvement, making the Hindi Diwas celebration a meaningful and engaging occasion at GDC Vijaypur.
