| Gaurav Sharma Felicitated by Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, for Winning Gold Medal in Senior National Powerlifting Championship | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 15: Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Jammu Division Uchit Singhal felicitated Gaurav Sharma, working as Ticket Checking Staff in the Commercial Department, at the Jammu Division office today on 15th September for winning the Gold Medal in the Senior National Powerlifting Championship.
It is noteworthy that Gaurav Sharma of Jammu & Kashmir had given an outstanding performance in the Senior National Powerlifting Championship held at Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh from 28th August to 03rd September 2026. About 300 players from across the country participated in this national competition. Gaurav Sharma won the gold medal by lifting the highest squat of 400 kg among all lifters. His total lift was 897.5 kg, which was the highest in the entire championship. On the basis of this excellent performance, he has also been selected for the upcoming Asian Powerlifting Championship and Federation Cup 2026.
