| Jammu police arrests absconder wanted in long-pending criminal case in Bishnah | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 15: In a significant action aimed at ensuring effective execution of judicial processes and bringing wanted persons to justice, Jammu Police has arrested an absconder wanted in connection with FIR No. 163/2020 registered at Police Station Bishnah under Sections 382/323/325/34 IPC. The arrested accused has been identified as Vivek Sharma @ Gopi, son of Kedar Nath, resident of Nougran, Tehsil Bishnah, District Jammu. The accused had been continuously remaining absent before the Hon'ble Court, following which a Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) had been issued against him. The arrest was made by a police team of Police Station Bishnah in compliance with the judicial process and the warrant issued by the Hon'ble Court of Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Bishnah. The accused has been taken into custody and further legal proceedings are being conducted in accordance with law. The action underscores the commitment of Jammu and Kashmir Police towards ensuring effective execution of warrants, preventing evasion of judicial proceedings and upholding the rule of law.
