BJP OBC Morcha presents 50,000 Diyas to Sat Sharma under ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ programme

JAMMU, Sept 15: In a significant initiative ahead of the birth anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP OBC Morcha, today presented 50,000 diyas (earthen lamps) to BJP J&K President and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Sat Sharma CA, as part of the 'Aashirwad Ka Diya' programme being organised by the Morcha to mark the Prime Minister's birthday on September 17.
The diyas were presented by Braham Jyot Satti, State President, BJP OBC Morcha J&K, along with the entire team of office bearers of the Morcha. The initiative marks the first programme being organised by the BJP OBC Morcha J&K under the 'Aashirwad Ka Diya' campaign, which has been conceived to seek blessings and good wishes for the long and healthy life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On the occasion, the BJP OBC Morcha J&K extended its warmest greetings and best wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday and prayed for his long life, good health and continued strength to serve the nation. The Morcha leaders said that the Prime Minister's leadership has inspired millions of people across the country and that the 'Aashirwad Ka Diya' initiative is a humble expression of the affection, respect and blessings of the people towards him.

Pura), Yudhvir Sethi (MLA East), Devyani Singh Rana (MLA Nagrota), Dr. Rajeev Bhagat (MLA Bishnah), Davinder Kumar (State President, SC Morcha), Vijay Saini and Suresh Salgotra (State Vice Presidents, OBC Morcha), Sunny Sangotra (State General Secretary, OBC Morcha), Ashok Salgotra (State Secretary, OBC Morcha), Hans Raj and Bodh Raj (State Spokespersons, OBC Morcha), Ram Pal (State Treasurer, OBC Morcha), Vinod Choudhary (State Publicity Secretary, OBC Morcha), Manohar Babbar (State Executive Member, OBC Morcha), Arun Sethi (District President, Jammu OBC Morcha), and Charanjeet Saini (District President, OBC Morcha Jammu Border) were present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma CA, BJP J&K President and MP Rajya Sabha, appreciated the BJP OBC Morcha for taking up the 'Aashirwad Ka Diya' initiative and presenting 50,000 diyas as part of the celebrations.
Sat Sharma said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a new direction to the country through his vision of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas, with particular emphasis on the empowerment of weaker and marginalised sections of society. He said that the OBC community has received greater recognition, opportunities and representation under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
