REASI, Sept 17: Reasi Police has registered FIR No. 292/2026 under Section 223(a) BNS against Rahul Kumar S/o Sham Lal, R/o Ward No. 09, Arli Hansali, Tehsil Katra, District Reasi, for operating as a pony handler without a valid ID/registration card on the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Yatra Track, within the jurisdiction of Police Post Banganga. The action was initiated after the pony handler was found operating without the requisite identification/registration card, in violation of the prescribed requirements for pony operators on the Yatra track. Reasi Police has directed all pony operators/handlers operating on the Yatra track to carry their valid registration/ID cards at all times. Any person found operating without the required registration/ID card will be dealt with strictly as per law. Reasi Police reiterates its commitment to ensuring the safety, security and smooth movement of pilgrims visiting the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine. |
