Early Times Report BISHNAH, Sept 18: The NCC Cadets of 8 J&K Girls Battalion NCC, Government Degree College Bishnah, organised a Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) programme to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of substance abuse and to promote the message of a healthy, responsible and drug-free society. The programme was organised under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) and coordinated by Dr. Kusum, CTO, 8 J&K Girls Battalion NCC, Jammu, GDC Bishnah, under the direction, guidance and support of Dr. Shallu Samyal, Principal, GDC Bishnah, with the valuable support of Prof. Koushal Kiran Thakur, Convenor, NMBA, and the Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of the College. The NCC Cadets actively participated in the programme and highlighted the harmful consequences of substance abuse. They encouraged students to make healthy and responsible choices and to contribute towards creating awareness against drug abuse in society. As part of the programme, the NCC Cadets took the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to staying away from substance abuse and spreading awareness about its harmful effects among their peers and in society. |
