| Er Gulam Ali Khatana inaugurates AMCU/BMC Unit under HADP in Jammu, holds public Darbar | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 23: BJP Senior Leader and Rajya Sabha MP Er. Gulam Ali Khatana today inaugurated the Automatic Milk Collection Unit (AMCU) and Bulk Milk Cooler (BMC) Unit established under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) of the Jammu & Kashmir Rural Livelihood Mission (JKRLM) at Village Channi Mowalian, Makwal Marh, Jammu.
The unit, established with the support of the Animal Husbandry Department, is aimed at strengthening local dairy infrastructure by facilitating efficient milk collection, quality assessment and milk cooling. The initiative will help strengthen dairy-based livelihoods and create better opportunities for farmers and rural households.
Speaking on the occasion, Er. Gulam Ali Khatana appreciated the initiatives undertaken under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for strengthening the agriculture and allied sectors and improving livelihood opportunities for farmers and rural communities.
He said that initiatives under HADP are helping create opportunities for self-employment, value addition and sustainable rural economic development, particularly by strengthening agriculture and allied activities such as dairy farming.
Er. Khatana also interacted with beneficiaries and members of the local community and discussed the importance of strengthening dairy-based livelihoods, improving infrastructure and creating sustainable income opportunities for rural households.
Holds Public Darbar, Addresses Public Grievances
Later, Er. Gulam Ali Khatana held a Public Darbar at the village, where a large number of people from the surrounding areas participated and apprised him of their issues and demands.
Officers and representatives of various departments were present during the Public Darbar. Er. Khatana listened to the grievances of the people and directed the concerned officers to take necessary action for their early resolution. Several public issues were addressed and resolved on the spot by the concerned departments.
Er. Khatana emphasized that regular interaction with the people at the grassroots level is essential for understanding their concerns and ensuring effective delivery of government schemes and services.
He also appreciated the officers and officials of various departments for serving the people with dedication, enthusiasm and commitment. He urged them to continue working with a people-centric approach and ensure that the benefits of government initiatives reach the intended beneficiaries in a timely manner. |
