| Jktjac extends heartfelt gratitude to hon’ble cm, Edu Minister, Dy CM & entire Legislative Assembly | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 25: Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) extends its heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation to Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Omar Abdullah, Hon’ble Minister for School Education Ms. Sakina Masood Sahiba, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri Surinder Choudhary Ji and the Hon’ble Members Legislative Assembly ( MLAs) for supporting and voting in favour of the resolution concerning the genuine concerns of in-service teachers.
In a press note issued by JKTJAC UT President Vinod Sharma this move of Jammu Kashmir Government has been called historic and encouraging that reflects a positive understanding of the long-pending concerns of the teaching fraternity and has strengthened the confidence among thousands of teachers in the democratic process.
Mr Vinod Sharma said that JKTJAC places on record its special appreciation and heartfelt thanks to Hon’ble Education Minister Ms. Sakina Itoo Sahiba for her consistent engagement with the teaching fraternity and for standing by the assurances conveyed during various JKTJAC conventions.
It’s pertinent to mention here that Hon’ble Education Minister had assured the JKTJAC team, under the leadership of UT President Shri Vinod Sharma and Chairman Shri Saleem Sagar, during conventions and interactions held at Convention Centre Jammu, Neelam Orchid Banquet Hall Udhampur and The Teachers’ Bhawan, Srinagar, that the genuine concerns of in-service teachers would be taken up at the appropriate level.
Today, JKTJAC gratefully acknowledges the steps taken towards fulfilling those assurances.
“We sincerely thank the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Hon’ble Education Minister, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, and each and every Hon’ble Legislator who supported the resolution for recognising the concerns and aspirations of the teaching fraternity”, said Vinod Sharma. He further said that
JKTJAC believes that assurances become meaningful when they translate into action—and today, we appreciate this important step.
“Our gratitude is not merely for a resolution, but for the respect, recognition and dignity accorded to the teaching fraternity”.
Mr Sharma assured the teaching fraternity that JKTJAC shall continue to remain committed to the welfare, dignity and genuine rights of teachers through democratic, peaceful and constructive engagement with the Government. |
