| DC reviews progress under PMAY-U 2.0 in Udhampur | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Sept 26: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa today chaired a meeting of officers of the Urban Local Bodies and other concerned departments to review the implementation status of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana–Urban 2.0 in the district.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer Uttam Singh; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr. Umesh Shan and other concerned officers.
The Deputy Commissioner conducted a detailed town-wise review of the implementation of PMAY-U 2.0 across one Municipal Council and two Municipal Committees in the district. The review covered the ULB-wise status of applications under PMAY-U 2.0, physical progress of sanctioned Beneficiary-Led Construction of houses and the status of other sanctioned projects.
The DC directed the concerned officers to complete all pending works at the earliest and expedite the overall pace of implementation. He also instructed the initiation of recovery proceedings against beneficiaries who have availed financial assistance but failed to commence construction as per the applicable provisions. ACR was directed to closely follow up on the matter. |
