JAMMU, Sept 29: BJP senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP Er. Gulam Ali Khatana, while speaking during the continuation of the "Jan Seva Se Desh Seva" programme at Bhour Camp Higher Secondary School, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has placed the country on a new path of development and created greater opportunities and responsibilities for the younger generation through the digital and 5G revolution.
The "Jan Seva Se Desh Seva" programme is being organised to connect people, particularly the younger generation, with the country's development journey and to create awareness about various public welfare, development and nation-building initiatives. The programme also seeks to provide students and local communities with a platform to participate in educational, cultural and creative activities, express their views on the country's progress, and understand their role in building a Viksit Bharat.
The programme at Bhour Camp Higher Secondary School focused particularly on engaging students through debates, painting competitions and other educational activities. These activities encouraged students to reflect on India's development, technological progress and future aspirations while giving them an opportunity to express their ideas and vision for the nation.
During the programme, schoolchildren participated in debates, painting competitions and various other activities. Through their paintings and debates, the students highlighted various initiatives of Prime Minister Modi and expressed their vision for a Viksit Bharat.
Khatana said that the country has witnessed significant transformation in several sectors, including the digital revolution, clean energy, startups, self-reliance, electric mobility, reforms, ease of doing business, manufacturing and exports.
"From clean energy to electric transportation, from reform to ease of doing business, from becoming a manufacturing hub to an export hub, from global recognition to an investment hub, and from employment seekers to employment providers, India is moving forward with confidence," Khatana said.
He further said that India's transformation was visible in its growing technological capabilities, space sector and global standing. He highlighted the government's emphasis on "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas" and said that these initiatives have strengthened the country's development journey.
"Modi ji hai toh mumkin hai," Khatana said, while highlighting the achievements of the Modi government. Addressing the younger generation, Khatana urged students to understand, preserve and further build upon the opportunities and facilities available to them today. He said that the younger generation has an important role in taking the country forward and contributing towards the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
The programme also provided students with a platform to express their thoughts on the country's development journey through creative and educational activities. The participation of students and members of the local community reflected the objective of promoting greater awareness, civic engagement and a sense of responsibility towards nation-building.
