JAMMU, Sept 29: Continuing its sustained drive against drug trafficking under the Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan, Jammu Police arrested an inter-state drug peddler and recovered 21.04 grams of heroin-like substance from his possession at Machine Domana, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Domana.
Acting on specific information, a police team of Police Station Domana* apprehended the accused, identified as
Rohit Kumar S/o Tarsem Lal R/o Labour Colony, Jawahar Nagar Camp, Ludhiana.
During his personal search, 21.04 grams of heroin-like substance was recovered and seized as per legal procedure.
Accordingly, FIR No. 207/2026 under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Domana, and the accused has been arrested.
Further investigation is underway to ascertain the forward and backward linkages of the drug network.
