JAMMU, Oct 6: Continuing its drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, the police party of Police Post Narwal conducted Foot Patrolling at Rajiv Nagar,Narwal.
During the foot patrolling, the police party intercepted a pedestrian identified as Ankush Kumar S/o Anitesh Kumar R/o Rajiv Nagar, Narwal. During the proceedings, approximately 7-8 grams of a heroin (Chitta)-like substance was recovered from his possession.
In this regard, FIR No. 302/2026 under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act & 111 BNS has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and further investigation has been taken up to ascertain the source and intended destination of the recovered substance and to establish further linkages.
Jammu Police reiterates its commitment to taking stringent action against drug trafficking and other activities detrimental to public safety. |
