Arvind Gupta inaugurates Rs 25 Lakh Lane & Drain Development Work in Ward No. 26

JAMMU, Oct 6: MLA Jammu West Shri Arvind Gupta today inaugurated the development work of a lane and drain at Kali Mata Mandir Lane in Ward No. 26, being executed at an estimated cost of Rs 25 lakh.
The development project fulfills a long-pending demand of the local residents and is aimed at improving drainage, connectivity and basic civic infrastructure in the area. The work is expected to provide greater convenience to residents and strengthen civic amenities in the locality.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Arvind Gupta said that strengthening basic infrastructure and addressing the day-to-day civic concerns of people remains one of his top priorities. He said that development works such as lanes, drains, roads and other essential facilities have a direct impact on the quality of life of residents and will continue to be taken up on priority.
Gupta said that the rs 25 lakh project will help resolve the longstanding problems being faced by residents of the area, particularly related to drainage and connectivity. He assured the people that genuine public demands would be addressed through sustained efforts and timely execution of development works.
He further said that development is being carried out across Jammu West with a focus on improving basic amenities and ensuring that the benefits of infrastructure projects reach residents at the grassroots level.
Vikas Bali and Veena Gupta were also present on the occasion and interacted with local residents regarding their civic issues and requirements.
The inauguration was attended by Mandal President Kushant Prajapati, Mangal Singh, Sudesh Sharma, Nishu Bali, Arti Khajuria, Om Parkash Sharma, Diya Ram and Romel Kapoor, besides local residents, party workers and prominent members of the area.
Local residents expressed appreciation for the initiation of the long-pending development work and thanked MLA Arvind Gupta for taking up their demand on priority.
