During the seminar, participants were educated about common fire hazards, preventive measures and basic firefighting techniques. They were also familiarised with the safe use of firefighting equipment and the importance of remaining calm and responding promptly during fire-related emergencies. The programme included a live mock drill, providing students and local residents with practical exposure to emergency response procedures. The hands-on training enabled participants to better understand evacuation procedures, safe handling of firefighting equipment and immediate actions required to minimise risk to life and property. The initiative encouraged participants to adopt responsible safety practices at schools, homes and public places while developing confidence to respond effectively during emergencies. |
