Jammu, Oct 11: The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) has appointed Smt. Kamlesh Kumari, Teacher, Zone Bani, as its Provincial Spokesperson with immediate effect to strengthen the organisation’s leadership, media outreach and communication mechanism.
In her new role, she will communicate the Forum’s official views, statements and decisions to the media and the general public in coordination with the UT President and senior leadership. The Forum expressed confidence that her contribution would enhance its communication network and help highlight teachers’ genuine concerns, demands and service-related issues before the concerned authorities and the public.
JKTF reiterated its commitment to safeguarding the rights, dignity and professional interests of teachers across Jammu and Kashmir, emphasising the importance of effective communication and collective leadership in strengthening the organisation and ensuring that teachers’ voices are heard on appropriate platforms. Meanwhile, Mohammed Ashraf Sheikh, UT President, JKTF, and Gulshan Sharma, Provincial President, Jammu, Additional General secretary Aakash kashyap congratulated Kamlesh Kumari on her new responsibility and expressed confidence that she would discharge her duties with dedication, sincerity and commitment, contributing to the organisation’s growth and the welfare of the teaching fraternity.
