Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 25: Today, in Mishriwala, Jammu, Sadguru Shri Madhu Paramhans Ji Maharaj-bestowing a shower of nectar-like wisdom upon the gathered devotees-explained that the 'Name' (Naam) spoken of by the saints cannot be attained without a true Sadguru (enlightened master). Only a complete, perfected Guru can bestow it. The 'Name' that enables one to cross the ocean of this world is clearly described in the teachings of the saints. It is not something that can be found through mere reading or writing; it is a living, vibrant 'Name'-upon attaining which, the soul returns to its true home. This comes with a guarantee-a powerful, absolute assurance-that this 'Name' will surely lead the soul back to its rightful abode. Before receiving this 'Name', one's life is often shrouded in darkness, devoid of any understanding of what constitutes sin or virtue. Once the 'Name' is attained, wisdom, discernment, profound thought, truth, forgiveness, and compassion naturally emerge from within. This ineffable 'Name' has been placed within you; it serves as a constant guide. It will intuitively reveal what ought to be done and what should be avoided-distinguishing between sin and virtue. It is this very 'Name' that is transforming you. The Master (Sahib) confirms this, assuring you that it provides protection. You may perceive that an unseen power is keeping a watchful eye upon you-simply follow it, and it will continue to illuminate your path. It shares a direct connection with the Supreme Reality. The Master emphasizes that this wondrous 'Name' acts as a perpetual shield, eradicating all your sins. He declares that a true Sadguru is one who imparts the 'Saar Naam' (the Essential/Ultimate Name). Without this 'Saar Naam', the soul cannot be purified. The Master and the saints have stated that a human being (or a heart/vessel) in whom this 'Name' does not reside is akin to a cremation ground. |
