Early Times Report SAMALKHA, Oct 25: "Awareness is not confined merely to outward alertness; it must also be reflected in our thoughts, conduct, and emotions." With this profound spiritual message, Nirankari Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj addressed the vast gathering of the global human family on the second day of the 79th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam. The four-day Annual Sant Samagam has brought together lakhs of devotees and followers from India and abroad. The congregation, comprising people from diverse cultures, languages, and backgrounds, presents a beautiful example of love, harmony, goodwill, and universal brotherhood. The entire atmosphere of the Samagam is imbued with devotion, spiritual awareness, and mutual affection. Explaining the true essence of 'Awakening', Satguru Mata Ji said that genuine awareness is not limited to external vigilance but must also encompass our thoughts, behaviour, and emotions. Highlighting the significance of devotion, Satguru Mata Ji explained that true devotion does not depend upon any external identity; rather, it finds expression through love, humility, tolerance, and living a life founded on truth. While embracing changes in lifestyle with the passage of time, one must always remain firmly rooted in truth. The real purpose of Satsang is fulfilled only when its teachings are reflected in one's conduct and inspire continuous self-improvement. Prior to Satguru Mata Ji's discourse, Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji illustrated the importance of inner enlightenment through the example of a visually impaired person carrying a lantern. He explained that merely adopting the external appearance of a GurSikh is not sufficient; one must remain illuminated with the light of Brahm Gyan, love, and complete surrender. True spiritual awakening is attained by constantly refining one's thoughts, emotions, and conduct through Seva, Simran, and Satsang. On this occasion, Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj was also honoured with the Global Peace Award by the Chishti Foundation. Nirankari Exhibition - An Inspiring Confluence of Knowledge, Awakening and Human Welfare The Nirankari Exhibition, beautifully designed with modern technology, creative presentations, and captivating illumination, continues to be one of the major attractions of the Annual Sant Samagam. Children's Exhibition Dedicated to the mental, emotional, and spiritual development of children, this section presents inspiring and interactive displays that promote moral values, good character, and life-enriching lessons. It encourages children to embrace human values alongside academic learning.
