| GOPI GEET Sammelan concludes at Laxmi Narayan temple, Durganagar | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 25: The Management Committee of Luxmi Narayan temple Durganagar Sector 2 Jammu, organised and hosted a 4-days Gopi Geet Sammelan from 22nd October to 25th October 2026 within the Mandir premises, in association with Adarniya Shri Bhushan Lal Bhat Sharnaghat Ji and his Narayan Parivar.
The spiritually enriching programme was attended by hundreds of devotees from different parts of Jammu, who participated with great devotion and enthusiasm. The Sammelan formally commenced on 22nd October with Geeta Gyan and Gopi Geet katha followed by Bhajan-Kirtan by Sharnaghat Ji. The programme continued every day, creating an atmosphere of devotion, peace and spiritual awakening.
The devotees were deeply inspired by the enlightening sermons and melodious bhajans of Sharnaghat Ji. The entire Mandir premises remained immersed in Bhakti, Krishna Naam and spiritual fervour throughout the Sammelan.
The Management Committee observed that such spiritual programmes assume even greater significance in the present circumstances of displacement, as they help strengthen the body, mind and intellect, while creating awareness about Dharma, values and the realisation of the Self. Such initiatives are also important for nurturing the younger generation with proper Sanskars and strengthening our Matri Shakti in understanding and preserving the values of Grahast Dharma.
The Management Committee expressed its appreciation for the selfless services and dedicated efforts by the Narayan Parivar team in organising the Sammelan. The Management in turn, expressed the desire that more such spiritual and socially beneficial programmes should be organised in the future in the larger community interest under the broader spirit of "Jan Jagran."
The 4-day Sammelan concluded on 25th October 2026 with prayers and Aarti. The Management also arranged Prasad for the participating devotees. |
