| 'CGA Adalat-2026' to be organized for disposal of pending compassionate appointment cases | | |

JAMMU, Oct 26: For the speedy disposal of pending cases of Compassionate Ground Appointment (CGA), Northern Railway's Jammu Division is organizing 'CGA Adalat-2026'. As per the instructions of the Railway Board, this special Adalat will be held on 10th November 2026 from 11:00 AM to 05:00 PM at the Officer Rest House, Pathankot Railway Station. The Adalat will be chaired by the Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Jammu and the Senior Divisional Personnel Officer of the division will also be specially present, so that the cases can be thoroughly reviewed and disposed of on the spot.
This Adalat will mainly consider cases of dependents or widows of those railway employees who died untimely during service, who were declared medically completely unfit for service, or who went missing during service.
Interested and eligible applicants can submit their detailed representation along with two sets of all necessary supporting documents by 05th November 2026 at the Personnel Branch, Divisional Railway Manager Office Annexe Building, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
The Railways has clarified that only cases registered under Jammu Division will be considered in this Adalat. |
