| Concern over bus accident | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 24: Several political parties, organization and intellectuals in separate press statements have expressed deep shock and grief over the loss of precious lives over a bus accident near Panthal on Katra- Udhampur road today.
Pradesh Congress president Prof. Saif-u-Din Soz and other party leaders in their condolences to the bereaved families and prayed to god to grant peace to the departed souls. Soz has also urged upon the administration to provide immediate medical help to the injured and demanded thorough enquiry of the accident and traffic department he alerted to take strict measures to check the frequent accident on hilly roads of district Doda and Udhampur etc places.
National Conference leaders, Rattan Lal Gupta and MLC Ajay Sadhotra have also express great shock over the accident and urged the government to provide adequate ex. Gratia relief in favour of the next of Kin of the deceased and free specialized medical aid to the injured.
