| JMC enforcement wing seize 50 kg polythene carry bags from Shopkeepers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 24: About 50kg polythene carry bags were seized from shopkeepers and reheriwalas from different parts of the city by the enforcement wing of Jammu municipal Corporation (JMC) during checking here today.
The enforcement wing led by the chief enforcement officers under the supervision of joint commissioner (A) carried out Anti-encroachment drive and removed encroachments made by the shopkeepers in front of their shops by keeping goods, articles on parts of roads/ pavement in the various parts of city viz Amphalla, Panjthirthi, Upper Bazar, Pacca Danga, Upper Gummat Bazar. During the drive a trucks load of goods/articles was seized from the pavements.
As per press release the election for the post of chairman of public health & sanitation standing committee and social justice standing committee were held also today were Satish Sharma and Inderjeet Kour have been declared chairperson of the respective committees declared elected unopposed.
