| Rupees 1.32 crore ex-gratia relief for militancy victims in Kashmir | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Jun 24 : An amount of Rupees 1.32 crore was paid to next of kin of 33 people killed in different militancy incidents while government job was provided to each kin of 18 victims in the Kulgam district of south Kashmir, official sources said today. They said on the approval of the District Screening Committee, Deputy Commissioner of Kulgam, Manzoor Ahmad Lone handed over appointment orders on compassionate ground to the next of kin of 18 killed in different militancy incidents during past years in the district. The government had decided to pay Rs four lakh to next of kin of a victim in lieu of government job as was being done in the past.
