| PDP sees special role for youth | | |

Peoples Democratic Party (Youth Wing) organized one day youth convention at party head quarters at Srinagar, speaking on the occasion youth president Bashir Assad said that youth wing has to play a vital role in socio economic and political transformation of the state.
“Because PDP is the only political party in the state which has a vibrant dynamic and visionary leadership encompassing all the problems being faced by the people of the state especially under the scenario when the state is passing through a crucial period of political unrest and economic bankruptcy, he said.
Bashir Assad said that PDP has an unembivious and clear agenda of bringing in pre-peace , harmony and economic stability in the state through universally accepted round map of empowering educating and emancipating the people in general and youth of the state in particular.
He said that PDP youth organization will launch a sustainable struggle for safeguarding the socio economic and political rights of the youth and will force the government to provide social security to the educated unemployed youth of the state. He said that PDP youth wing will consistently impress upon the government of India to handover the hydel projects of the capacity of thousands of megawatts to the state that could go a long way in rebuilding the shattered economy of the state besides generating employment opportunities for educated unemployed youth of the state at a much higher pace.
