| MLA Billawer has failed on aspirations of electoral: BJP | | |

The sitting MLA from Billawar has totally failed to provide basic amenities to the people who returned him to the state assembly with high hopes, alleged BJP State Vice-President & party’s candidate in the last assembly election Satish Sharma.
Satish Sharma said that it took the Congress MLA Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma months together to wake up from sleep though it is never too late to mend and now when the MLA has understood the gravity of the situation, he can not escape from his responsibility by just bringing the matter into the notice of the Chief Minister.
‘Mr Sharma MLA Billawer should himself take up the matter with the PDD and PHE officials to ensure that the people of Billawar are not made to suffer any more due to unscheduled long power cuts and irregular water supply, he said.
Satish Sharma took the Congress MLA to task for misleading the people of Billawar some two and half years ago when the people had launched an agitation over the same issue and he being then MLA had told the people that the matter has been taken with the highest authorities and the transformer at Hiranagar will be upgraded but till date no step has been taken in this regard. BJP leader said the Congress MLA owes explanation as to why his promise had not been fulfilled.
He said there are natural water resources in the area but due to ill planning and non-seriousness on part of the MLA has resulted into non availability of water in many areas.
