| Police nabs trickster while investigating abduction case | | |

Police has claimed to resolved a case of false abduction here today but at the same it has found a trickster who had taken a huge amount from various persons for appointing them in Govt services and then finding unable to repay them he planed this plot of abduction.
Police reports said on 21-06-09 one Feroz Ahmad Mir son of Bashir Ahmad Mir resident of Check Ashamuji Kulgam lodged a compliant in Police Station Ram Munshi Bagh regarding missing of his father Bashir Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Gani Mir resident of Ashmuji Kulgam.
According to the FIR the complainant stated his father had gone to Dalgate Srinagar on 18-06-09 in connection with his own work. There was continues telephonic contact with his family members till 18-06-09 but later on his mobile suddenly got switched off, police said adding that the family members claimed that the said missing person Bashir Ahmad Mir had been abducted by two persons.
Accordingly a missing report registered at Police Station vide daily dairy 08 dated 21 -06-09 and a wireless signal was flashed to all SHO’s of the valley and a thorough search was started against a FIR No. 128/09 u/s 365,343 RPC dated 22.06.09 which stands registered Police Station, police said.
‘During investigation of the case call details of the mobile of missing person were sought. The call details were thoroughly perused and the suspected persons connected with the offence were questioned. On 24.06-09 the said missing person was taken into custody and during his questioning in the Police Station he stated that he had taken a huge amount from various persons for appointing them in Govt services and he could not pay them the amount back well in time and was unable to employee them, the police spokesperson adding that it was now clear that the said person Bashir Ahmad Mir had given a false report to Police through his family members and tried to deviate the police.
