| CAPD squad inspects markets in Jammu city | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, JUNE 25 - A team of Enforcement Officers headed by Deputy Director (Supplies), CAPD Jammu conducted a surprise check in the local market and adjoining areas of Jammu city and National Highway 1-A upto Nandani and challaned 20 tea stalls, dhabas, fast food vendors, halwai, mutton sellers realizing a fine of Rs.8000/- from the defaulters here yesterday. The CAPD Department has already directed the restaurants, caterers, fast food vendors not to use domestic LPG cylinders at their business premises and display price list and refrain from overcharging on cold drinks and other eatable items from the tourists/pilgrims and other consumers. This drive shall continue on the National Highway 1-A for the convenience of the tourists especially Shri Amarnathji pilgrims.
