| Show conduct notice to Dir employment | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, JUNE 25- Committee on Privilege Legislative Council met here today under the Chairmanship of, Mr. R. S. Chib.
The meeting was attended by Legislators, Mr. Rashid Qureshi, Mr. Altaf Ahmad Kaloo, Mr. Showkat Ahmad Ganai besides officers of Legislative Council.
In its inaugural meeting, the Committee held discussion on a privilege notice introduced by legislator, Mr. Murtaza Ahmad Khan against the then Director Employment, Mr. Mohammad Akbar Lone. After going through the contents of the notice, the Committee issued instructions to Council Secretariat to issue show conduct notice to Mr. Lone with the directions to reply by or before July I, 2009.
The Committee examined another privilege notice which was also submitted by Mr. Murtaza Ahmad Khan against the University of Kashmir alleging violation of warrant of precedence. The Committee directed Council Secretariat to get updated information in this regard.
The next meeting of the Committee has been fixed for July 2, 2009.
