| Govt urged to commission Shitli plant | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 26: The Jammu west assembly movement (JWAM) president Sunil Dimple has urged upon the administration to commission Shitli water plant immediately as people is facing acute scarcity of drinking water. As per press release, Dimple has given 10 days to commission the plant, otherwise JWAM will be completed to launch agitation in this regard. He said no government took effective measures to solve the drinking water problem of Jammu city. He said minister concerned and his team of officers pay no attention to mitigate the basic problem of the people. He urged upon the PHE minister to look into the matter and solve the problem. He also asks the chief minister Omar Abdullah to intervene in the matter.
