| BJP blames media to tarnishing image | | | Early Times Report Jammu July 1 Taking strong exception of so called media trial over the submission of Much awaited Liberhan Commission Report, the BJP State spokesperson Ramesh Arora, said instead of waiting for its tabling in both houses of parliament some channels have tried to tarnish the image of Hindu society. He said thse channels have further tried to defame the word "Hindu" as non-secular and this theory of pseudo- secularism is condemnable. He said as per norms report which is yet to be tabled before both houses of the Parliament will be discussed there. Thereafter Action Taking Report (ATR) or otherwise, has to be decided by the parliament on the report. However commenting over the working of Commission and its credibility, said that Commission has worked on the dictates of Congress-led government and have furnished delayed report. He added the report has been leaked intentionally to a particular channel which later has intentionally started public discussion to get mileage over the other channels and to defame BJP and its leaders. The channel has tried to declare L.K. Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharti, Ashok Singhal and Mulayam Singh besides other organizations like Shiv Sena, responsible for the demolition and have declared them culprits. ‘Such type of reporting casts skepticism over the working of media, he said and added media bodies and associations should come openly against such practice in order to protect the credibility of media working.
