| IKONS launch degree courses in various streams | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 1: IKONS educational system is launching first time professional degree courses in BBA-MBA, BCA-MCA in Jammu division and is for the first time in the state that IKONS is offering full time off campus courses in professional studies through the Bharati Vidyapeeth University Pune, School of Distance Education.
As per press release, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune is well established name in the filed of education established under section 3 of UGC Act 1956, it is absolutely a recognized university by UGC and approved by Distance Education Council of India. The university is awarded “A grade accreditations by NAAC”. The university has tied up with IKONS college in Jammu to run its programs under the distance education mode.
Addressing a press conference on the launch of BVP and IKONS college tie up chairman IKONS Educational trust Kunal Anand briefed the press gallery about the uniquesness of the degree being awarded by the university, he said that the degree awarded by university is at par with any other degree awarded by any state university. Anand said this is a life time opportunity for the students of the state to avail this golden chance because this time university is not conducting any entrance for the same.
