| Wifes murder husband arrested | | | Early Times Report Srinagar July 02- Jammu and Kashmir police claimed to have solved a murder case of a physically handicapped lady who was found dead at her home in Kandipora Bijbehara and arrested the killer husband. Police spokesman quoting SSP Anantnag Showkat Ahmad Malik said that on June 20 a woman Katiji wife of Fayaz Ahmad Lone Sheikh was found murdered in her room at village Kandipora Bijbehara. Case FIR No 132/2009 U/S 302 RPC was registered at Police Station Bijbehara. Every effort was made to ensure the perseverance the scene of crime by the Anantnag Police. “Services of the FSL were utilized for the examination of the scene of occurrence under the close super vision of the SSP Anantnag who was on spot on the scene on crime” the spokesman added. During the investigation it came to the fore that the lady who was physically handicapped was murdered by her husband Fayaz Ahmad Lone (Sheikh) by hitting her with a sharp edge weapon wood slicker (Toor in Kashmiri ) on left side of her neck resulting in her instant death due to blood loss. The accused has been arrested who confessed the commission of the crime. The people of the area have hailed the timely action of Anantnag Police in tracing the case and bringing the culprit to book.
