| BJP leaders meet Finance Commission members | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu , July 2 : A delegation of state BJP President Ashok Khajuria called on by the team of Finance Commission and demanded separate allocation of funds to three region by centre and necessary law should be made to this extent.
During the interaction Ashok Khajuria who was accompanied by Ch. Sukhnandan (MLA) Marh Constituency asked the Commission that separate allocation is necessary because Jammu and Ladakh regions as both have been ignored by the successive Kashmir-centric leadership.
Khajuria apprised the central team about different projects and the demand of Chamber of Commerce of special allocation of Rs Ten thousand Crore as special package for people of Jammu for the losses suffered by business community and others during agitation.
Ashok Khajuria also demanded special package for construction of artificial lakes at Jammu Tawi and Jajjarkotli and further money for attracting tourists in Jammu region, so that Bani and other places like Sanasar, Patnitop etc. can be beautified and also preservation be done properly of Mansar and Surinsar lake as it has been done in the case of Dal Lake.
