| LJP highlights demands | | | Early Times Report Doda, July 3: District Doda Yog Raj Sharma appealed to the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, MLA Bhadarwah Mohammad Sarief Niaz and MLA Inderwrwal G.M. Saroori that the condition of all the roads of District are very deplorable and appealed to the concerned authorities to repair these roads immediately which lead to regular accidents and mishaps. Sharma demanded the construction of Thathri- Chirra Road via Tipri- Badanoo- Gunti which was constructed up to three Kilometers Sharma applead to PHE Minister and Chief Engineer PHE Jammu Division that the village Hakoona (Prem Nagar) of Tehsil Thathri, is having population of more than 500 people purely Scheduled Caste and BPL village. Due to drought there is acute shortage of water in the village. There is insufficient drinking water in the village and the inhabitants are facing very difficulties and thus are force to bring water form adjoining villages. The authorities concerned have been approached several timies, but noting substantial has materialized so fr, with result the villagers are continue suffering and get deprived of the very basic need for the sustencnce of life. The water supply has been given to village shote and other surrounding villages but the water problem of village Hakoona remained unsettled till date. So it is requested to take immediate necessary stamps for provision of the water in the village Hakoona and Panshi area of Tehsil Thathri. He also demanded the Up gradation of oldest Sub Centre Jou4ra Kalan to PHC. Despite the fact that the CMO Doda submitted a full-fledged report to Director Health Service Jammu who in turn submitted the feasibility report to Secretary Health Service but to our dismay no action has been taken in this regard.
