Jammu, July 3: Ahmed Jan, member legislative assembly, Poonch hailed the historic decision of the chief minister Omar Abdullah for withdrawing the CRPF and replacing it with the State police in a phased manner. He also hailed the directive of the chief minister to place magistrates in every district for dealing with the law and order situation.
He said that the endeavour of to reach out to the people and taking governance to their doorsteps and holding ‘Awami Mulaqat’ speaks volumes of his commitment to change the destiny of the people of the state by providing justice.
Aijaz urged upon chief minister to hold the next Awami Mulaqat in Poonch.
Jan said the initiatives which the chief minister has taken to rope in the private sector to tackle the unemployment crisis in the state are also a healthy step.
He said the state NC- Congress coalition government, under the dynamic stewardship Omar Abdullah, will lead the state towards new heights and will bring in an era of peace, progress and development
