Early Times Report Jammu, July 3: To usher in the monsoon and say goodbye to the summer heat, people of Jammu has been invited to “Pind Da Bulava” a Punjabi food festival which starts from tomorrow at Hotel Ashok in Jammu. Addressing the media persons, Sanjay Mehta, General Manager, said “Punjabi Cuisine has an immense and diverse range of dishes and the food is like the Punabi themselves robust and hearty with no unnecessary frills or exotic accompaniments. The emphasis has traditionally been on robust food, grains, and vegetables in their basic form, prepared with the simplest of ingredients and basic techiniques with a premium on quality and purity. Chief, Sandeep Katyal, said that his team have brought mouth-watering Kababs like Amritsari Machhi, Tandoori Chooza, Reshmi Kabab etc and other specials like Patiala Shahi Murg, Mogewala Kukarh, Methi Mugh, Meat Beli Ram and in vegetarian section, we have “Bharwan Aloo, Lehsuni Tikki, Punjabi Kadi, Bharta, Bhindi Kurkuri. The “Amritsari Kulcha, Missi Roti and Dal Amirtsari are the perfect accompaniments to this feast. End the meal with Kulfi Falooda, Rabri and the traditional Gur & Shakkar, he added. Avinesh Yadav, Food and Beverages Manager, said that Pind Da Bulava beckons you to a truly Punjabi experience. The festival will be accompanied with a daily lucky draw and prizes, he added.
